Mission & Vision
Rahi - ਰਾਹੀ in Panjabi means a companion on a path or journey.
Creating culturally nuanced SUD interventions for BC's Panjabi cis-men.
Rahi - ਰਾਹੀ in Panjabi means a companion on a path or journey. For so long, research, clinical, and systems work has been done in silos, resulting in fragmented care and solutions. This is why at RAHI, our mission is to walk together with all stakeholders and develop culturally resonant interventions for substance use disorders among South Asian cis-men in BC.
More than that, our goal is to centre a community of folks in their own healing and empower them to be seen, heard, and supported.
RAHI began in 2022 and is currently structured as a research project centred on integrative knowledge translation and design thinking.
